LIVE PERFORMANCES

10th of July @ 8pm to 9pm SLT

Kenzo was inspired to pick up the guitar and sing the moment he heard Bright Eye's 'First Day of My Life' on the radio. He perfoms original material as well as covers inbued with his own creative twist. His favourite bands are Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Arcade Fire, Muse, Radiohead and Shogu Takamaru. When he's not singing, Kenzo designs vintage-industrial furniture under his proprietary brand, Oyasumi.

Find out more about him by listening to our podcast, where we have Masumi interviewing Kenzo. Listen here!

Holy Moly
10th of July @ 2pm to 3pm SLT

Holy Moly ruins your favorite songs—or maybe he makes them better.  A mashup artist, he takes songs apart, throws them into a blender and obliterates them. Then, he puts them back together, piece by piece, sample by sample, until they resemble something disfigured masquerading as music.  Still catchy, still danceable, but unique.  While your brain will question what you’re hearing (is that Wham!?), your ass won’t care, because it will still be shaking like nothing is wrong.

24th of July @ 3pm to 4pm SLT

Kristopher Walpole is an English singer songwriter. He writes songs and sings and plays the acoustic guitar. As a professional musician in RL, he plays festivals and various gigs around the south west of England, playing domestic, romantic, homespun music. Expect the occasional cover version, too.
